AKT Company was established in 1379 with the aim of producing sound and vibration insulation and with a capital of over 25,000,000,000 Rials. This company was the first producer of bitumen-based magnetic insulators in Iran, and the knowledge of producing bitumen-based insulators was purchased from Henkel (Korea) during the technical knowledge transfer agreement.

Currently, AKT Company has a fully advanced insulation production line and the ability to produce 6000 tons per year of all types of magnetic, normal and adhesive back insulation and 4 complete lines with the ability to produce 5,000,000 meters of tape sealers and about 600 tons. It has a variety of paste sealers.

In 2014, AKT Company put the production of all kinds of sealers based on butyl, epoxy and synthetic rubber on its agenda, and now this company is the only producer of butyl tapes, foam coated with butyl, butyl pastes, epoxy-based reinforcers and pastes. It is a rubber body sealant and mastic and foaming rubbers in Iran.

This company also has the following production lines:

• Advanced felt roof production line with the capacity to produce 467,000 pieces per year
• Baffle piece production line with a capacity of more than 1,000,000 pieces per year

• Fully advanced automotive catalyst production line with the capacity to produce 450,000 pieces per year
